Clarifications
Quotation & Technical FAQs
What CAD and blueprint file formats can you process?
We accept standard PDF engineering blueprints, AutoCAD .DWG / .DXF 2D files, and 3D solid models (.STEP, .IGES, SolidWorks parts/assemblies). If you only have hand-sketches with clear dimensional callouts or a damaged physical sample to reverse-engineer, we can review that as well.
Do you handle both small custom orders and recurring production runs?
Yes. We fabricate single custom structural weldments, one-off industrial replacement parts, machine modifications, as well as recurring batches of metal components for regional contractors and facilities.
How does government and school district purchasing work with A&I?
A&I Custom Manufacturing, LLC is a state-certified Texas HUB vendor and holds active Choice Partners Contract #23/016MR-01. Municipalities, school districts, and state agencies can purchase directly through these pre-bid cooperative contracts without protracted bidding cycles.
What geographic areas do your mobile welding rigs cover?
Based in Brownsville, our mobile welding trucks regularly service jobsites throughout the Rio Grande Valley, including Cameron County (Brownsville, Harlingen, Port Isabel), Hidalgo County (McAllen, Edinburg, Mission), and marine/dockside facilities across South Texas.
